Beth is very patient and tailors her lessons to each individual. She arranges periodic recitals, allowing students to showcase their skills in a formal setting and has also started hosting “music parties” for her younger students. This gives them a chance to play piano for each other in a non-threatening way. They also spend time jamming on other instruments together, which is a lot of fun.
Piano lessons are a concrete way for children to learn that repeated practice leads to accomplishment. I’m very happy that we found Beth to help us impart this to our son.

It’s very difficult to find teachers in traditionally “girl dominated” areas such as music and dance who both welcome and understand the different dynamic boys bring. As parents of a 7 year old child who learns independently, enrolling in private piano lessons with Beth is one of the best decision we made to help our child choose an extracurricular activity. Over the course of a year, our child has learned the fundamentals of reading music, piano etiquette, how to play classical songs, and performed in a well assembled Spring recital. Beth does a terrific job in teaching our child the struggles in learning piano which are transferrable skills in life. I am so happy and fortunate to have found Beth. I am an adult student and played a little piano as a child. I was a little nervous to start back up and to show how little I remembered. But, Beth was patient and knowledgeable from the first lesson I took, I was hooked right away. I wanted to focus on jazz, blues, and improvisation and that is exactly what I learned.
