Testimonials

My 6-year old son has been taking lessons from Beth Blaskovich for over a year and we couldn’t be happier.  Beth is an accomplished pianist and has the gift of being able to teach her craft and share her enthusiasm with others, notably with children.

Beth is very patient and tailors her lessons to each individual.  She arranges periodic recitals, allowing students to showcase their skills in a formal setting and has also started hosting “music parties” for her younger students.  This gives them a chance to play piano for each other in a non-threatening way.  They also spend time jamming on other instruments together, which is a lot of fun.

Piano lessons are a concrete way for children to learn that repeated practice leads to accomplishment.  I’m very happy that we found Beth to help us impart this to our son.

I have been taking piano lessons from Beth for about a year now. I had no music training and was brand new to piano before finding Beth.  Beth has been teaching piano for some time and it shows. If she can teach me to play she has to be good. She is patient and very knowledgeable in music theory and teaching piano.

Beth is awesome! As an adult learner, it has been wonderful to find someone so accomplished, patient and knowledgeable as Beth. She truly has a gift for teaching. She has such a good and honest working relationships with her students. She goes out of her way to find music the student will enjoy as well as arrange classes at convenient times. I highly recommend her to everyone I know that wants to take lessons.

Over the past 3 years, Beth has been integral in teaching the understanding of music for our three children.  Her approach is nuturing while able to ensure the child’s sense of music is developing each week.

This process has become a family experience in working with our children to understand new musical challenges.  In addition, Beth’s interest in grouping all her students to perform is, without a doubt, one of our highlights each season.

Finally, Beth has a very open mind with all styles of music.  In fact, she encourages her students to understand the origins of the various styles and understand the history behind instruments other than piano.

All in all, we have been very fortunate to have Beth in our lives.

My piano sessions were always such a pleasure with Beth! She is patient and kind – exactly what I wanted from my piano teacher. In addition to gaining my knowledge and techniques on the piano, I truly enjoyed sharing my own music productions with her. She was great at supplying me with music production ideas and concepts, discussing my songs during our sessions – which helped me out tremendously! Beth is a very accomplished pianist, a kind soul, and I highly recommend her as a piano instructor!

Beth is outstanding and especially good with boys.  It’s very difficult to find teachers in traditionally “girl dominated” areas such as music and dance who both welcome and understand the different dynamic boys bring.  Beth not only did a great job working with my son, but genuinely valued him as a student.  She is progressive and always looking for innovative ways to engage kids not only in piano, but in the larger study and appreciation of music.  My son is your typical sports-oriented kid, and Beth has kept him interested and motivated to play piano for over 2 years.

We are grateful for finding Beth Blaskovich through a school friend.

As parents of a 7 year old child who learns independently, enrolling in private piano lessons with Beth is one of the best decision we made to help our child choose an extracurricular activity. Over the course of a year, our child has learned the fundamentals of reading music, piano etiquette, how to play classical songs, and performed in a well assembled Spring recital. Beth does a terrific job in teaching our child the struggles in learning piano which are transferrable skills in life. We love she enforces daily piano practice and hold students accountable for assignments/books. It is with delight to share our child has never resisted to go to weekly piano lessons with Beth.

We highly recommend Beth for her tremendous gift in teaching her passion in playing piano.

Beth is a warm, caring presence in our home for lessons. The attention she gives to providing her students with a well-rounded musical experience, across all genres, is truly special. Beth teaches both my 9 year old daughter and 14 year old son. Both look forward to their lesson times, and we all have appreciated Beth’s supportive style. She is truly a thoughtful teacher who is eager and willing to instill a love of music in her students. I am very thankful we found Beth and highly recommend her!

I am so happy and fortunate to have found Beth.  I am an adult student and played a little piano as a child.  I was a little nervous to start back up and to show how little I remembered.  But, Beth was patient and knowledgeable from the first lesson I took, I was hooked right away. I wanted to focus on jazz, blues, and improvisation and that is exactly what I learned.  Each lesson was focused on learning in these areas while helping me improve my basic skills. I am so impressed with her knowledge and her easy-going manner. I highly recommend Beth. She has a wonderful gift for teaching and all her students have a gift in Beth.

Beth Blaskovich is a fantastic piano teacher. I took lessons growing up for almost 15 years and unfortunately stopped playing for about 15 years. Recently, I picked up playing again and Beth tremendously helped me rediscover what I had lost for so many years.

I feel like I’ve learned more in the months of lessons I’ve had with her than I did in my 15 years of playing. She’s broadened my knowledge of reading music, music theory, and expanded my experience beyond my classical roots to learn the Blues.
She’s thorough, knowledgeable and experienced. And also fun. And she’s willing to teach all musical genres…depending on what you’re interested in.

I am so happy with her as a teacher and would highly recommend her – beginner or experienced.

I absolutely adore Beth’s teaching style! My son and I both take lessons and Beth is wonderful at engaging both of us with ease. Her gentle encouragement and willingness to be so completely flexible to engage my son makes my heart happy!

Beth is a very reliable teacher.  She tailors her lessons to each individual and encourages them to reach their full potential.  Our girls have made great strides learning piano and theory from Beth.  Beth also started gatherings for students to play together and offers student recitals twice a year.

After several years of talking about taking piano lessons, I finally signed up about six months ago with Beth and couldn’t be happier. Beth is extremely professional and knows more about music theory and piano than I even realized was possible. The pace of the lessons has been perfect-slow enough that I don’t feel overwhelmed, but challenging enough that I can see improvement each week. It’s been wonderful to find a new creative outlet that is relaxing and gratifying. Even with a busy schedule, I enjoy making time for practice and look forward to seeing Beth each week for my lesson.
